I added Celtic Butterfly to my garden last year (2018), as a double fan in spring. It bloomed that summer quite well, as I recall. It was growing well, so I set a pod on it using Linda Sierra as the pollen parent. Six seeds matured and five have germinated. I will update this post later in the year when I see how Celtic Butterfly has fared after this very long winter and late spring.

I planted Celtic Butterfly in my zone 7b north Georgia garden in mid June 2022 from a daylily club sale. It bloomed the next spring on May 23, which is right on track for early midseason as registered. It has a beautiful bloom. The scape was short, but scapes on many of my daylilies in 2023 were short due to harsh winter and spring weather.
