I've been looking for this one for years. I read only one retailer was licensed to sell it, but they aren't open any longer. I saw a "brass band winter rose" for sale in Australia, is it the same as the floribundas?
Also looking for an old rose. Single, smallish, scented, pink with white center and scented. It's one that most would rip up as it flushed only once a year and is extra prickly. Any help is appreciated.

I looked on HelpMeFind for Brass Band and it doesn't show anyone in Texas as selling it. That doesn't necessarily mean no one does.
Armstrong's (here) sells it. I see there are Armstrong's in Texas, so ck. out their website and call the ones in Texas if any of them are near you.
There are several "once bloomers" around, so see if you can get a name.

Thanks, I just searched their website, which I knew nothing about until you told me, but no Brass Band there. I will call some Cali. stores, maybe find one willing to ship if they have it.
The old rose was at an old home place in the woods near my childhood home. I would walk in the woods alone to visit it often just to try to catch it blooming. It was my secret treasure. Haha All the old bottles on the site were 30's through 50's, so it was something passed around at that time. I wish I had a name for it. Thanks so much for your help. It looked like this random pic I found.
