For 100 years the American Iris Society has been working with and for iris hybridizers, growers and iris lovers (irisarians) to promote and advance the "flower of the rainbow."
I have just spent some really enjoyable hours looking at the slide shows available on the AIS website. I will no doubt spend quite a few more hours in similar vein - and perhaps (or probably, or inevitably!) even join the AIS, even though I am nowhere near America. Totally recommended.
