Good morning, I am enchanted with what I have seen this morning. I am new to the site but an old gardener.

I would like to post on a thread of interest but I do not see where to do this. It doesn't have a place like this does to post in. Can someone help me?

Gail ~ After you have read all the pages, then the window for posting will be at the bottom.

If you want, you can skip all that, and press the last number, at the right hand side, top of the page, and that will bring you to the last page. You can read the posts, or just go to the bottom and the window for posting will be there.

Or, on the first page, you can press the sentence, "jump to the end", and you will be there!

Welcome, Gail! Welcome! Welcome!

We do have an iris thread called "What did you do in the iris garden?" if you want to see the heaps upon HEAPS of iris related things.
The thread "What did you do in the Iris garden today?" in Irises forum

There are many of us here that visit and chat daily, but a lot of us have our own threads. Jan has one, Evelyn has a few, I've got one and several other members have one! I do suggest you check out those if you like to see each other's takes.

Also around here are threads for regions. There is a thread for posters from California, one for the Carolinas, and one just started up for Texas and states around there. Anybody is welcome to post, though!

A big welcome again to our forum. Enjoy gardening! Welcome!
TB 'Starting Fresh' blooming for me in May of 2022. It bloomed for a week and a half with nine buds.

Thank you all for the information . I didn't know I had to go to the bottom of an8 y.o.post to post! I know I am going to love it here.
My avatar iris is Double Shot.
The site came up when I was looking for identification of a TB soft yellow iris. I have been looking for several years. He can get 48" tall with many manybuds per stem. He is also a prolific multiplier . He is a repeater and I get to see him 5 times a year here in north Louisiana.
I thought 'bumblefritzed' was a regular word!

One more question, please.
Can you reply to a post on a thread or do you just add it to the bottom.
I wanted to say how much I love my Thornbird Iris to Evelyn. But don't see a reply button!

Very pretty iris, Gail - I wish I knew what it was, too! The closest I could find (on a quick database search) were SAXON and OLYMPIC RETURN, but neither is listed as high as 48" tall. (!!! 48" tall? !!! is that a typo? Confused )

Oh, and welcome to the nut house. Welcome!
Evaluating an iris seedling, hopefully for rebloom
