pretty white flowers came out just before the azaleas. I thought maybe lime but the seed pods don't seem to match.

Can you post a photo of some branches, the trunk and one of the entire plant? Can you break open one of the seed pods and show us the inside?

Without more information, I think you have a Serviceberry there - Amelanchier sp.

It's hard to see. It's beside the road fighting with mtn laurels and trees. Trunk comes up about 4' then branches out. Probably 7-8' total. It'll probably get whacked by the road crews.

thanks! So those berries should keep getting bigger. I like native so I'll try to propagate it. I already saved a nice little mountain magnolia from the glyphosate sprayer truck near the same location.
