Hi, so my lemon balm plant is yellowing, and some of the leaves are dying. In general, the plant doesn't look too good.. We've had a lot of rain recently, but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

The lemon balm plant was receiving too much sun and heat. Also, it didn't help that it was a newly planted plant, probably in slight shock still. So I did a bit of research, and decided to cut the plant back to just a few inches high, and see what happens. The plant quickly recovered and grew new foliage, and its doing really well now. I think it was just a combination of shock, too much sun and heat, and the stress of it all.

Thank you so much for letting us know the outcome. I have mine in ground and it comes back every year with minimal care. I'm afraid I ignore it so didn't have an answer for you. This year I started some Lime Balm and love the fragrance. I hope it is equally carefree. Again thanks for your assessment. Thumbs up
