Did I get your attention? Well, I am guessing I will disappoint in that my volume will be muted this year compared to years past. Call it "Click Bait!
I continue to lose garden space and plants. Some by design and others by neglect. I am cutting back because I don't have the time and there are other things to do. Maybe when I retire I will arrest this downward movement. The weeds are thick and nonstop. They have choked out quite a few irises. I have been moving the irises since April (Yes, I am sacrificing bloom this year in some cases as I move stuff around; but most of these moves are to "save" the cultivar (so I am starting a pot farm).
My first bloom was April 24th (Tessie The Tease). This beat my normal first bloomer "Rare Edition" by two days. A deformed "Roz" was next. Everything else came in May. Here are the pictures.
