Thanks for sharing this recipe. I have been determined to learn to use my Instant Pot this year by trying one new recipe each week. I am enjoying using it and am delighted to try some desserts as well. Thumbs up

Thanks. Like so many people, I was also intimidated at first. The Instant Pot sat unopened in the box for several months. I joined a Facebook group Instant Pot for Indian Food and gained confidence.

The founder of the group is Ashley Singh Thomas. She has a food blog called myheartbeets. (I thought it was a typo but no, Ashley loves beets.)

Here is a link to her recipe index; see how you can narrow it down by clicking keto, or vegetarian, etc. Not all recipes are Indian and not all are for the Instant Pot but you will be inspired. Each of her recipes must be tested and approved by her dad - the ultimate critic.

I have now purchased a second, smaller Instant Pot. Hurray!

I initially bought mine to use as a slow cooker because my old one had died. After limited use for about four years, I figured I needed to venture out and learn to use the pressure cooker. Mainly I have searched online for whatever vegies or meats I have while looking for recipes that sound edible. I have found some keepers and some that I wouldn't feed to my doggers. Whistling

I resisted buying a second pot but have picked up a few accessories including a second liner. What sizes are your pots?

Off to work now to earn dog/cat food money. I will check out that link when I have time to read through it. Thank you!

I'm sorry I am not seeing notifications about comments on the blog posts. I have a 6-quart Lux (it's crap) and a 3-quart Duo (it's perfect). When I find a good deal I will replace the 6-quart Lux with a better/newer model and donate the Lux.

I joined a Facebook group run by Ashley Singh Thomas. The group is Instant Pot for Indian Food. The members share tons of helpful advice about using the Instant Pot, share recipes (not just Indian), and are very supportive. Lovey dubby There are no bullies.

Ashley has a cookbook available to buy online plus she has a fantastic blog called
myheartbeets.com where she shares tested recipes that include Indian and others, vegetarian, Keto, and more. Each of her recipes must be taste-tested by her father before it gets published; he is very strict and expects perfections. Or you can just jump to this link to see all the recipes on Ashley's blog.

Thanks for the info on the pots you have. Mine is the Instant Pot which some don't like. I have nothing to compare it to so it suits me.

I have actually seen the my heart beets blog. I don't recall what I was searching for when I stumbled on that site. What I tend to do is search for a recipe by the ingredients I have. If I like it, I'll print it and store in a binder. My youngest stepdaughter goes thru it and snaps photos on her phone of the ones she wants to try. I also take it to work and let friends copy the ones they like.

I just can't wrap my head around facebook so don't think I'll ever do much of that. Thank you though.
