Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Border Blessed')

Border Blessed has been in my flower bed for4 yrs this will be it's 5th year. It took 4 yrs to finally show off. Last year it was covered in blooms. It set pods easily last year and pollen fertile for me as well. Mid season bloomer here. I would recommend it for the patient gardener, someone who is willing to wait and see.

Mine has been similar, but I had it planted where it may have been in yoo much shade. This will be the 5th year here, I moved to to more sun fall of 2017, 2018 it multiplied and bloomed quite a lot. The flowers opened well too, which was previously iffy. I rather liked the color of it better in the shade, seemed a little deeper, but I had rather have flowers that open completely. Beautiful ruffley flowers that do set pods easily.

It never did well here in my sandy soil and eventually disappeared. Some dormants do well here...not this one

I've had mine for four or five years. I got it as two fans and have a huge clump now - 12 or 13 fans. It needs heat to open well, so it probably wouldn't do well in the north.

I used to grow this one. It left the garden 2 or 3 years ago, because it would not consistently open. It would get hung up on all the ruffles and folds. When it did open properly, it looked great.
