I have had this plant for years. I almost lost it once, down to 1 small fan. It quickly recuperated. It always reaches height stats, and very close to the lower end of bud counts expected. Bud count usually averages 15 to 20, but some scapes get higher counts. I have prettier flowers, but this is a very dependable daylily.

I received this plant from another member in 2019. It bloomed in 2020 and it blooming now. I have it planted in a grow bag and it seems to like it . The scapes are tall and the flowers are cute. My only complaint is that the flowers have a bit of an orange tint to them. I've been looking for a yellow tetraploid daylily with a red eye and edge for a few years now. The ones I've found that fit the bill haven't been hardy and have either died or I've had to give them away. I was hoping Fox Point would work but it still isn't quite what I'm looking for. I do seem to have the issue in my garden that some yellow tets (for some reason not dips) appear orange instead of yellow.
