Any ideas what it is? It doesn't look like a weed and I'm happy to leave it there for a bit of variety! My Canna is just beginning to grow so not sure if it's better to take it out?

Take it out. Its an annoying little thing that roots along the stems and forms a mat.

Aphria...

You will be much happier now.

And so will I once I know how to pronounce your name!!

Since Aoife is EE-fa...?

'Splain, to the linguistic idiots in the audience, please. Rolling my eyes.

(Gaelic is lovely. But not when you try to translate the written form into American English!!)

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Sighing!

Ha, I'd say most linguists would have trouble with Irish names...20 vowels when 3 would suffice! Aphria is pronounced Ayfreea. Pretty straightforward as Irish names go...try Caoilfhionn...pronounced Keelin Big Grin

Lol!! Well, nice to meet you Aphria. I guess I should count myself lucky that Great-Grandma Lil didn't like Gaelic and named everyone the boring standards of Ann, Margaret, Flo and the like. (Although I haven't checked their birth certificates, so they could very well be spelled nothing like what I think they are!! Lol!! Well, if you were to check the birth certs you might find Áine (pronounced Awnya) which is Irish for Ann.

And now I'm curious... What would William be? Any change in the spelling? (That's my grand-dad and my dad's name. )
