I have a large hanging fuschia, and today I noticed that several of the leaves are turning yellow with greenish/grayish flat spots. At first I thought it was powdery mildew, but I'm questioning that because the spots are flat. I've only had the plant for about six weeks; I live on Bainbridge Island, WA (USDA 8b); the plant gets sun til about 1:00 pm, although the daytime temps are only in the 60's or 70's, so it's not a hot sun; and I water it when my knuckle comes out of the soil just barely moist. My guess is that it's a disease rather than the environment, but I can't say.

I'd like to ask whether anyone has any ideas about what the problem might be.

Thanks!

Thanks!

Overall your Fuchsia looks pretty healthy. However, given the very damp, cool environment where you have it, some fungal disease may be a problem. However, it would be premature to draw any conclusions based on the yellowing of a few leaves.

Thanks, Will. I do agree that it's probably too soon to identify the problem. I was just hoping, if it is a fungal disease, to treat it early.
Melissa I agree Thank You!
