I have only recently discovered the joy and pleasure of growing plants and tending my small flower garden. Within the last 4 months I have gardened daily and it has become a Hobby that has Fascinated me. I live in Jacksonville, Florida.
More 18 years ago my Mother-in -Law , helping us move into our home , planted some Azalea bushes and other plants in front of our home. Everything has grown and I never paid attention. Now after all these years one of the plants has these Awesome Blooms , that , my wife or kids have never noticed. My Mother-in-Law has passed away and I would like to know what kind of plant I have?
Any help is appreciated.

Our database listing for Crepe Ginger (Hellenia speciosa)

@tofitropic suggestion of Red Button Ginger (Costus woodsonii) sure looks like a match!
