I'll ignore the hybrid I planted last Aug. that has been fighting spider mites, but is loaded with small, mostly sour fruit and get to the three bug/ disease free plants I have in pots. My 'Orange Ox Heart' ( 5 gal pot), 'Old German' (5 gal, self watering pot,) ' Rainbow' ( 5 gal, self watering pot. ).These were all purchased plants, and going to be hard to find later. Due to our "June Gloom", aside from the 2 day heat wave, have shut down until weather stabilizes a bit. All three have fruit, but now back in the low 70s, not growing. Assuming lack of sun (not showing until 5pm) and heat is the problem. If I were to take cuttings, would they be likely to be ready to plant soon(?), Aug. (?) with hopes of getting some decent sized tomatoes this year?...if the weather improves. They're predicting a hot summer...if it ever arrives. Desperate here!

Cuttings also need the right conditions as well. If you were to take cuttings, let some side shoots grow and take them as long as there are no fruits on it.
