Can you help identify this Echinacea? In principle, I registered every new plant acquisition in my database and made a label for it but but this one the label is missing and I cannot trace it to any of the names in the database with Google images; drives me nut.

Looks to be Marmalade to me.

Thanks. I lost my 'Marmalade' couple of years ago. If I remember right, my 'Marmalade' had a bigger and fuller top, shorter petals and slightly more orange.

The plant you are describing sounds more like Mandarin which is a darker orange with rounder leaves and more dense growth on top.

My picture of my Marmalade looks similar to yours. I think your identification is right. I think the top of the flowers appear to enlarge gradually in the last week or so. Thanks for the help. (I have declared it dead since last year and was trying to source a replacement without success.)
