Wow
I took the plant out of the pot and laid it on the table on top of its pot so it was still laying on soil as I ran out to get some proper soils.
Wow it looked Absolutely horrid when I got back!!!
So I got everything ready for morning and the plant actually dont look to bad for the horrible time it had the past 24 hours!!!

Naughty naughty squirrel! Thankfully he did not seem to damage much of the roots.

I wonder if spike mats will help. I put that to some containers here, not for squirrels, but for my one of my own cats that gets naughty at times. Rolling my eyes.

Wow. I've never seen anything attack clivia before (we don't have squirrels here, but we do have rabbits, possums and other critters). It will survive and I'm glad to see it has a healthy root system. I am not sure what to suggest to prevent this in future. For my seedling boxes, I use a piece of mesh just above them to protect them from birds and other animals that would eat or dig them up.
