It reminds me of Wild Poinsettia (Euphorbia heterophylla var. cyathophora) but that's just a wild guess.

Thumbs up It does indeed look like either Datura or possibly Solanum. Apparently Jimson Weed (Datura stramonium) is found in Michigan, as is Bittersweet Nightshade (Solanum dulcamara) and there may be others.

The leaf texture looks more like Datura to me but with juvenile plants, it's difficult to tell.

My first thought was Jimson Weed but I did't think it lived in such cold climates. So as Lin pointed out, two possibilities.
