A couple of years ago I had a beautiful begonia that I would like to find again. It was an apricot color but not a strong orange. It had soft undertones of pink. I've searched the internet looking for apricot begonias but didn't have any luck. I'm hoping that maybe one of you could help me find its name. Thank you.

There's a Sun Dancer Apricot Tuberous Beongia on sale for 2020. https://www.americanmeadows.co... Also one here, but it is out of stock. It looks sort of similar to yours. The thing about begonias is, there are so many cultivars and they change depending on your area. We have locally cultivated begonias for sale in our nurseries here. Have you tried going back to the same place you got it?
Maybe we should get a second opinion...

Thank you for the information on begonias. The Sun Dancer Apricot Begonia is very pretty. I go to numerous nurseries and can't remember where I got this one. After describing my begonia yesterday I tried a new search using pink and yellow begonias instead of apricot. This turned up a begonia named Begonia hiemalis - hybrid 'Rise Up' Sansibel Peach which is very similar to mine. I'll give that a try next year and if that doesn't work I'll order Sun Dancer.

I have similar issues when trying to recall certain plants I love. This year, I've been trying to take pictures of all the plant tags on my new plants, so that I can look back and find the right one. Unfortunately, I forget to take pictures sometimes. I forgot what the wax begonia I mass-planted this year is called Sighing! Good luck finding your begonia!

I like to divide my plant tags into annuals and perennials, scan them into my computer and put them in folders labeled with the year that I purchased them.
