After reading too many different web sites on rooting/ propagating Sweet Potatoe Vine as always I come back here to ask for the " hands on experience " I find here. It works best for me always!!!
So all I'd like to know is if anyone here has propagated these vines before ? What you feel worked best for the plant?
Also any one successfully rooted SPV in water and successfully planted it into soil.
I read many times that the SPV seem to go into shock more often then not when it planted into soils after being rooted in water.
Iv always had alot of success when rooted in water with most anything!! I prefer it so I can see the roots growing and I know when it's ready to go into the soil. I guess I love to have the plants in vases sitting around too!! Just pretty.
Anyways I'd just like your thought on the matter.
Thanks a million my fellow gardeners!!! I hope everyone is able to enjoy the sunshine this weekend. So far my plants are looking very happy due to nice thunderstorm last night !! They needed a good soaking . My water hose isnt working well and I'm watering everything by bucket/ spray bottles!!! It takes me hour each night to water all the plants! Lol thanks again everyone..
Peace love and chicken grease!! ;)
