'Strawberry Fields Forever' is a evergreen tetraploid introduced in 1997 by Stamile.

It has earned the following AHS awards:
Award of Merit: 2004
Honorable Mention: 2001

Nice plant in my Zone 5 garden. I removed it a couple of years ago, as it did not handle being in the sun all day. It was well branched and budded. The blooms are on the smallish side for my tastes.

A true pink color with lovely eye. Not tall, but reliable. Worthy of AM at the time. Yes, does not like hot afternoon sun.
