Love the blooms but my bud count has been quite poor even in a prime location. I just moved the plant and maybe it will be happier in its new location. I hope so.

We have had CE for several years, but each year it is plagued by moles undermining the roots. The flower is really pretty, and I don't know why we never moved it, but this year with only one fan left, CE was moved to a much different location and it has perked up considerably. Here's hoping that next season, it will come into its own with more fans and those pretty flowers.

this year like most of my 400 plus daylilies was a down year, but this flower is real pretty and usually a really good performer in the short time that I have had it. Scape height and bud count were down this year

I bought this flower in May 2023 from Keast Daylilies. By October there were 3 fans, all moderately rusty. No bloom yet

2023 update…CE had a great year, ending October with 6b fans, basically doubling in size this year. It also flowered from July 5-19 with 17 blooms.

The flowers are super pretty and curl and dance around, always different from day to day. The color is a translucent pink. Beautiful!
