Hi, this tree is in my neighborhood. When I try to ID it on websites, it comes out as arborvitae. But arborvitae has different cones, so I don't think it could be arborvitae. Any help?

Looks like Juniperus to me, possibly Eastern Red Cedar (Juniperus virginiana)

Thank you plantladylin, you helped me solve the mystery. It is actually an arborvitae. I went outside and looked at it again, and realized the cones that I found were from a nearby tree. Thanks so much.
