SHOW 'N' TELL (ALC) Introduced in 1985. The 10" blooms of red tipped yellow are of good depth and substance. The blossoms are slightly lacinated with good stems on a 4' plant




SHAGGY CHIC (LC ) Introduced in 2018. Beautiful 8" lacinated soft coral pink that fits perfect with the vintage styles that are so popular. These robust and strong plants grow to 5'. This beauty can go from a soft peach to a soft pink depending on weather and growing conditions.





CITRON DU CAP (BLC) Introduced in 2001. Big, beautiful 7" blooms of the most delicate yellow with a dusting of rose blush over the petal tips. the blooms are as deep as they are wide. Heavily lacinated petals give the flowers an extremely lacey appearance, which can be striking in arrangements as well as in the garden. Although the 4' plant produces enough stems to cut and has long lasting flowers, it is better suited for exhibition and should win lots of ribbons.

Here are a few I've grown over the years that I think are considered laciniated (spell check refuses to acknowledge that word!). I haven't seen Flapjack for sale since Sea-Tac Dahlias closed their business.

Higgo Wonder - I planted it this year, but it looked stunted so to the landfill it went. Boo.

Just Married is a pretty winner.



I agree that Pinelands Princess is also a good laciniated dahlia that I grew and showed this year.



Beautiful Manor Jayne is a purple size B. It wins consistently at our shows!
