My parents are trying to get me to take this plant after they move - however I can't seem to identify it and I'd like to know what it is so I know if my home will have the appropriate conditions! I know it's probably something simple but I can't seem to find it's match online.
It's stem and new leaves looks a lot like the way a banana plant or a bird of paradise grows.

It does look like Canna Tropicanna®

I've never seen one grown indoors, but it looks to be thriving.
