I have been a member since October 2018. The newsletter is not being sent to me. What do I need to do to get it started again? This also happened to a friend, she just joined about a month ago.

If you have not already done so go to the 'person' icon at the top right of this page and select "settings." The fourth item down asks you to select yes if you want to receive the newsletter. Don't forget to save your changes.

I was already checked yes in settings to receive newsletter. I have been receiving the newsletter until about three weeks ago, when it stopped. The last one I received was dated August 31st.

@dave or @jon - could this be another case of a newsletter email being blocked by ISP or email provider changes?

I have google mail on both an I Pad and a laptop. I received an e-Mail about the same time the newsletter stopped coming saying I hadn't updated to the new Google Mail. Could this be the problem? I know my friend uses another e-Mail service, she said she had to re-register.

Just a me, too. The weekly newsletter stopped arriving a couple weeks ago. My settings indicate I'm subscribed, and when I'm at the home page, it says, "You are currently subscribed to get the weekly newsletter sent to san***.com [my correct email address]. And my email host is not gmail, not Google; it's an ISP I've been using for 15 years. The newsletter isn't being placed in my Junk Mail. I use Microsoft Outlook for email.

Do you download your gmail to an email client, like Thunderbird? Or actually log into gmail through your browser?

I had problems with missing emails like you're experiencing and it turns out that Gmail has a very aggressive spam filter. It will stop it from being downloaded to your own client, not sure what it did with those emails through the browser, don't remember if I found them or not. The one email where it was an issue I finally made an extra gmail filter that stopped it from holding back any emails at all.

@GrowDammit The newsletter went out this morning and you were in the list. It sent it to your address at Sep 17 14:34:29 UTC (7:34am your time, I think).

Your ISP did accept the mail, and it did not bounce. If they didn't actually further deliver it, that would indicate a problem on their side.

I can send you additional details privately, if you wish. I would post them here but it would expose your ISP name and details like that. Send me a tree-mail if you want to followup.
