Old timers know about the fragrance of plum grannies or Queen Anne's pocket melon (Cucumis melo var. dudaim). A friend had given me seed years ago, which I grew for a couple of years and put aside. I threw a bunch into the soil this year, and one (or two?) grew! I've got a couple of ripe fruits already, with a couple more on the vine. I would love to share the seeds.

Yes, I have more seeds. I was surprised when a few sprouted last year - they were old seeds. I'll dig them up some time soon and send you some. Need your address, please. I'm really pleased that you'll grow them. Please pass them along if/when you get the fruit.
