Jean has been in my garden for a few years now.

She bloomed last season and again this season.
Nice tall and sturdy scapes.
She is a late bloomer in my garden, starting around July 30 and blooming for about 3 weeks this year.

I love the bi-tones with the bright midribs. Her colors and style are very similar to Frans Hal. She is taller than Frans Hal and starts blooming a bit later. I like Jean a bit better than FH, because of the additional height and its' unusual crispate form..... it is a bit more spidery and so it appears more elegant. Smiling

Jean is the tallest daylily in my garden. It took a year to settle in nicely. This is the second year in my garden and she put up quite a few flowers. Back before there was bud and branch counting, I can say Jean puts on a nice display. As stated above, Jeans has sturdy scapes and does not lean or fall over with the wind in my windy location.
Happy to have her sunshine blooms in my garden.

Jean is a strong plant with tall sturdy scrapes. Increases well. The colors aren't as clean and sharp as I would like.
Newer spiders do everything this plant does and do it better. I do commend its hardiness however.
