This pink is NOID. It has a very strong scape with 5-way branching.
It has been blooming all summer long.

The Potter's Touch. This is the third time that it has bloomed. The flowers reflect alfalfa, heat and water consumption.

Surprise bloom on Mary Ethel Anderson. This plant has two scapes, and maybe there might be a few more flowers before any cooler weather could affect the blooms.

I still have a couple blooming. Last year I set a goal to extend my season. ( last bloom was on 8/23 ) Here it is October so I guess it's "mission accomplished ".

FFE on Ring the bells of heaven X HNF sibling: This opened up to large pink/lavender bloom with uniform ruffling and edge. Also has some of that HNF craziness to the long and somewhat contorted petals. I'm going to baby this one.

Gerry, your pink NOID is definitely a keeper with 5-way branching and blooming as long as it has.

Avedon, Lexington looks like it has a lot of diamond dusting. Very pretty!

So good to see all the October blooms. I've posted these same daylilies in the September thread, so this is just for posterity. I don't ever remember seeing daylily blooms in October!!! Smiling

Aqua Tech looking a little less than pink. Although we did have a high temp of 96F today.

Smiling HR is a thriver. Late one fall I pulled a plant out to replace it, and I forgot to take it to the compost pile. The next spring, sitting on top the ground after one of our winters, started growing foliage like it didn't care. I couldn't discard it after that. I moved it to the front yard garden for surviving my abuse, and it's still there, alive and kicking.

Tim great story. The Trimmer's told somewhat of a similar story about Discarded Beauty that was discarded on the compost pile and at some point started to bloom on the pile. The rest was history.

Nice looking bloom on Happy Returns! I like it when the person I'm giving a plant to gets to see the bloom so shortly after they get it.

I have Discarded Beauty and like the unusual color blends. The name always reminds me of the story behind it Smiling
