Could you explain for me what is meant by "specie related???? " I am guessing it is not the real thing, but only "related"???

Pretty much everything of mine has been cut back for the season.

Everything is now gone in my garden. But I've found that members of the Halcyon / June family last well into the autumn with a minimum of slug damage.

I agree June was always last to go when I could grow them without all the deer problems. Last night I even purchased some halloween decor that in the past that was helpful keeping the deer away.

I found a 7 ft witch that is sound and movement activated that goes up and down, arm and hands movement, light up screaming. Sounded like how I chase them away.

You can always grow seedlings at this time of year.

But if you start them now, you need some good lights. I like to start mine in February and I don't need to keep them under lights as long as such space is limited.
