A flower with a very distinctive pattern. Would prefer more substance to bloom and slightly larger size. To me, not as imposing in the garden as it is in pictures.

I've grown it for two years now, and it is a beautiful bloom and looks like the pictures. I think it makes a wonderful specimen plant, but when it is planted with others daylilies, it does not stand out. I tend to overlook it. It performs well in my zone 5 garden, but it would benefit from some afternoon shade.

It was new to my garden last fall, and it did well this summer. It even sent up a rebloom scape in my zone 5a garden, and I got blooms through the middle of September. I think the flower is very pretty close up.

I've grown it since it was introduced. It gets Morning and late day shade and grows well. My records show that I've never set pods on it but have used the pollen and have one seedling I'm using.

Mine arrived last fall. I think I received 3 nice fans. It has at least doubled in number of fans. Only produced 1 scape, shorter than registered. Nice looking blooms, lush green foliage. I am sure it will do much better next year.

Thank You Robin, The cross is with Gossard's Miss Piggy. I knew I probably wouldn"t get a pattern with that cross but my wife likes pink so I started a pink breeding program. Now I have quite a few pink seedlings that I like.

I have had Dr. Jules Michael Vinkman in my garden since August 2021. It sent up some lovely blooms this July. The plant looks happy, I'm hoping for more to come next year.

A good year for Dr. JMV in 2022! After losing a fan over the winter, the Dr. grew it back to end at 4 fans. Blooming from July 9-25, I had 15 blooms this year. I think they are spectacular!

2023 update…still only 4 fans by the October, the Dr only sent up one fan with 7 blooms this season.
