I have grown these two landscape roses for several years, having obtained one at a wholesale grower I buy from and the other in trade.
Sadly, I no longer have the names for either of them.

The vivid pink one has large clusters of 1" flowers and sends out arching canes up to 3 feet.
The orange-pink one is my favorite color in any flower with individual blooms displayed in small clusters -- the orange-pink fading to soft pink as the flower ages.

They do not look like the Knock Out roses to me. I wonder if these are part of the Drift or Flower Carpet series? I have Appleblossom Flower Carpet and it has the growth habit you describe.

In Simi Valley, they wouldn't likely be Knockouts, because no one sells them here. Flower Carpet roses, OTOH, ARE sold here, so that'd be a better bet.

I don't recognize them, but I look more at Old Roses than at modern ones . . .

Hi, Dan. It's good to hear from you. Here are the results of a search of our database for shrub roses with single blooms. I hope you can find your roses here:

I just noticed that your second rose actually is a semi-double, so here are the search results for those:

Thanks Zuzu and Jeri,
I checked the search results and still didn't find either rose there.
Well even without a name they are lovely.

Dan
