My Plumeria pudica has limbs that are 16 or so feet tall. This one is blooming so high up in the attic of the greenhouse I almost missed it. (That's why the images are so grainy)

I recommend that in the early spring you cut it WAY back, to about 18-24 inches. It will branch out and become bushier.

Its been planted in the ground in there since 2004. Some of the lower trunks are fairly large for this plant. I want it to be nice and bushy but it has never cooperated

I sure hope my pudica fits in the garage this year. I trimmed this back to 5 ft spring 2018. It did not branch out but rather just sent up another tall branch. It only looks full cuz I keep replanting the cuttings back into the pot. Next year a drastic haircut for sure! This ones gonna be work to defoliate!

I was given a cutting many years ago and I was always moving it around from one spot to another. Every time I dug it up I cut it back to just above the branching , so each time I moved it I kept cutting back a little higher and leaving more tips to branch.
