Thank you everyone who participated! I wish everyone could win.
I asked Trish if she would sell me two more boxes of goodies and she agreed, so we have three winners. The grand prize winner get the above-shown prize box. The 2nd and 3rd place winners will each get a box of 5 different kinds of soap from Trish.
Yeah Raffle Man. Congratulations to the THREE winners.
Dave & Trish, I would buy raffle tickets just to see the videos.
I had Cliff come into the computer room just to watch the video. We both sat chuckling and had happy tears in our eyes. We love seeing such a wonderful sight of loving family interacting.
I still haven't heard it but at least I've watched it I'm at dd's today and on her computer. I put her headphones on but she has the volume turned way down and I don't know how to turn them up to hear. I'm really hearing impaired in my old age
Nothing wrong with my sense of smell though and I can't wait to smell all this good stuff
Lucky you, Vic.
All week long I kept thinking about that lavender spray.
I think Little Man and I must have had a communication problem, but I'm really happy for you.
Congratulations ladies! You will truly love your prizes that are hand and ♥ made by Trish!
Love the video!! That young man is so adorable His sweet laugh and "little man talk" made me smile from ear to ear! I need to go watch it again. The video's are like an extra prize for all of us here at ATP!!

Congrats to all the winners.
I feel like the winner every time I see these videos. Little man is so adorable and he's getting so big! It's fun to see you too Dave, Even better than a still photo.
But Sharon, I'm really sorry you didn't win. I was rooting for you.

In case anyone is wondering how I generated these tickets, let me give you the technical details.
I'm using the rand() function in MySQL to select a name from the list of tickets. I tested it extensively and found it to be quite accurate and random. I ran it several million times and found that generally the percentages returned matched quite nicely the actual number of tickets. In other words, in my testing the person who bought 5% of the tickets had their name come up around 5% of the time.
I'm comfortable and confident with the fairness and randomness of this drawing system and I look forward to using it from here out, especially since it means no more pages and pages and pages of cutting out little tickets!

Sounds like a great program you developed Dave. I wouldn't want to print and cut out all those tickets either. I just knew if it was you doing it, it'd be fair. You've got a great reputation as a man with great character.
