Is this a Petunia? I have lots rising up in one location in the garden. Some I transplanted into pots when they first appeared.

Gave up trying to grow old gracefully, now growing old gratefully.

That doesn't look like a Petunia to me but rather a variety of what I know as Madagascar Periwinkle: Vinca (Catharanthus roseus) Many of them have white centers.

Thanks Lin, very helpful. Thanks also Carol. Beautiful plant, next job now is to carefully transplant the rest of the seedlings in to pots and decide how to use them, when and where in our garden.

Here in Florida they are considered pretty weeds, spreading everywhere, even growing up through the cracks of cement walkways!

The plant has naturalized in some areas, (Northern Australia included). It's considered invasive and an environmental weed in some parts of the world. Read the Naturalized Distribution & Notes sections on this page for more information: https://keyserver.lucidcentral...
