Val,

Where do you get your ziplock baggies from? The only place I've really found that has them that small is u-line...

Karen,
Just to horn in here, you can get them at Amazon.

...and at WalMart. In the 'crafting' area. People use them for beads.

I'll be posting some of the small ones on my trade list too.

I've gotten mine from all of those places as well, also dollar general has them in the craft area as well and I live in a small town so if you have one of those you could check there as well!

Hi karen,
I generally get my seed baggies/ziplocs on amazon, sometimes ebay.

I actually dont like the smaller bags, had a fall and shattered my wrist last year with a difficult rehab after surgery. I still dont have complete use of my hand nor the dexterity to work with the smaller baggies, so thought I'd offer them as swap items.

@vma4922 Similar reasons for me. I have Early Onset Parkinson's... so I still use the 3"x4" baggies, but the smaller ones are harder for me to get seeds into. I loved that you were offering them -- and I'm going to post my whole stock since I have no need of them anymore. Yay!

I've just withdrawn my seed offerings. I'm just doing a different kind of listing to make sure I have everything in one place. I'm still in for the swap.

Val,
The last two swaps I've come up short on some seeds. It's very embarrassing and I hate to not come through with what I've offered. I've decided this time to list everything and only list it as I do inventory AGAIN to make sure I have everything.

I totally understand, Leslie

I pull my seed packs and/or edit what's on my list and put all my offerings in a box filled A-Z as I add things to each swap. I came up missing a couple things my first swaps and it drove me crazy.

This works for me and makes packing so much easier when the swap is over

Smiling

Thanks for the info everyone! So sorry to hear of the difficulties of Val and @kilngod, I can symapthize.

I have been re-using the 'air bags' used for shipping. I just cut a small hole in them to release the air and store them. When I went to fill them I didn't really want to make the hole any bigger - less likely to spill the seeds right? Rolling on the floor laughing Anyway, having a heck of a time getting the seeds into the bags as my hands go numb. Somehow I discovered that using a funnel D'Oh! works perfectly and I don't have to make the holes any bigger. Why didn't I think of that 100 bags ago? Confused Thinking

I've purchased bags on eBay from seller medicalproductsdepot. Right now they have 2000 2"x3" bags for under $14.00, and with free shipping. They also sell other size bags at good prices.

Well, I havent been very chatty in this swap, just with info and checkin in, but you all seem to be so self efficient this swap :D

At the end of this swap (waiting 24 hrs for everyone to finish bidding), normally you would print your final packing list and pack your seeds and mail as soon as possible to the host so as not to hold up the distribution and return of everyone's seeds back out to them.

Any questions how to access this, let me know.

These seeds you'll pack nut hold onto until you send in your Feb. Swap seeds.

I hope everyone had fun and found this swap beneficial to get those dibbing fingers going!

I'm so thrilled. I sold almost all of my seeds! Thanks for helping me clear out my stash.

SOOOOO... Life happened and I didn't get my last few seeds listed before tonight started. I'm popping them in anyway right now (ok give me 5 min) for any late comers that might still want some things...
