Hello everyone!

I've got a small succulent that appears to have a broken/dead stem. I think the top got too heavy and I didn't spot that it had tipped over and got damaged. I expected that it would firm up after giving it some extra support but the stem has completely died away and I'm surprised that it's still alive!

Any recommendations on what I can do next to make sure it stays alive? Thank you! 🌵

Cut here, and let it callous for 2-3 weeks, then plant.
Its rotting, not broken. Means you messed up something with care///

Thank you! Can I ask what it means to let it "callous"? I'm assuming that means to let the stem dry out for some time before replanting.

I think I overwatered it initially which is why the stem has rotted away!

Dry, and the cut area to get a wood-like bark...
Your plant is rooting as it is, so you needent worry about that...
