I've really enjoyed Pink Stripes a lot more than I thought I would. I figured it was probably and underperforming one trick pony, but I've been pleasantly surprised. The blooms are big and bold. In 2018, it bloomed from July 1 to Aug 5, which is a long time for my zone. Top 10% performance that year.

And then you get to create some kids with it because it's such a good parent. It probably helps that I'm not desperately trying to find the next Undefinable. I'm just having fun, but I'm enjoying seeing the stripes coming out of the seedlings. I'm not devoting a lot of space to stripes, but I seem to get stripes on a little under 50% of my seedlings.

In 2019 I crossed Pink Stripes x Gilded Dragonfly. Can't wait to see what happens this summer.

I wanted this one so bad that I bought it two years in a row. Lost them both their first winter. Sighing! I guess it was not meant to live in my garden.

Pink Stripes is not one of my favorites. It has been here since '16 {was a trade} and grows to the registered height but the bud count is nowhere near registered. It blooms late here--August into Sept..It is a moderate increaser. I am ready to part with it. I think that is more a personal choice due to the coloring than to the growth habit though. I tried it but I don't really care for striped blooms.

This plant performs as registered here in my zone 6b garden. Was given to me by a friend, although now he says he doesn't think it is Pink Stripes. I believe it is. This is my only striped daylily, and adds a different touch to the garden. Almost always noticed by garden visitors . Althought I don't collect many dips , this one will stay. Smiling Thank You!

I was on the waiting list and purchased Pink Stripes the year it was released. I received a small plant like I would expect from a spider or UF, and it under performed for me from the start. I had it three years before it finally dwindled away and disappeared, I don't think I ever got more than three blooms off the entire plant on any given year and I only had one bloom it's first year. It was grown in an established raised bed in z6 Virginia. I will add that I don't mulch my beds so that may have been a factor. I wasn't a fan of it's size, form, or substance but I did like the color combination.
Give me land, lots of land, under starry skies above. Don't fence me in.

Pink Stripes performs very well for me in my Zone 5 garden. It is usually taller than registered and blooms for a long time. I have blooms on it from mid July to mid-late September. I was expecting it to struggle in my garden, but it has done very well for me. My clump got so big, that I took it to my club sale and it sold out instantly. It is pod and pollen fertile. I hope to have some seedlings bloom this year.

I purchased Pink Stripes in April 2018. It bloomed for me that first year on tall scapes and I quite enjoyed it's blooms. Very pretty. Last year (2019) it did not bloom for me at all, but increased in fan count quite a bit. (lots of new fans, but I haven't counted them). Put all of its energy into multiplying I supposed. Looking forward to seeing what it does this summer.

I bought Pink Stripes a few years back. It didn't make it and the company I bought it from said that they'd had some difficulties with it.
I did buy seeds with Pink Stripes the pollen parent in 2018. Some of them bloomed last summer. Hope to see the rest bloom this year Crossing Fingers!

I planted Pink Stripes in Spring 2021. It was doing great until it was eaten by voles. So sad! I'm picking up two new fans from Simonton Bridge in September 2023. Willing to try again!

Those Simonton Bridge fans were planted October of 2023. Pink Stripes is starting out its garden life here with four fans.
