I'm having fun listing my "seeds". None of them are for real plants though I've tried to incorporate plant names as often as I can. I don't have any bids so far. Remember, we're not getting any seeds from this so bidding on fake plants won't hurt you.

I suppose we should wish list some of the seeds available to make the swap authentic when we start dibbing.

Makes sense. Also, in order to be awarded dibs when a swap opens I believe individuals must have at least one active listing assigned to the swap. Unless of course that requirement has been disabled for purposes of this exercise.

Anyone who wants to effectively participate will have to load at least one old listing or create at least one fanciful one in order to dib their fantasies.

I went through the offerings and added the ones that others had wishlisted to my wish list, giving more stars to the ones that were on the most wish lists. If we all go after some of the same ones when dibbing starts, it might better simulate what happens at the beginning of a real swap. It was fun seeing what some of your creative minds come up with! I could use the Money Tree and Pure Malarky sounds like fun. For some reason I used coupons a few weeks ago and stocked up on toilet paper, so I left those seeds for someone else.

I did the same regarding wishlisting the same ones others wishlisted to try to make sure several of us are dibbing the same thing at once to simulate a real swap. I also recommend putting a quantity of only ONE offering on the listings that many have wishlisted, to make more of a crunch at the start. Multiple offerings may not allow the system to be stressed like it would be in a real swap.
