After saying that it's really hard to correctly ID from photos, especially blues & purples that digital cameras often "see" differently...

I have a clump like yours -- very deep dark purple, not at all "blue." There are many many blue varieties, and also many varieties have a different color in the "falls" -- the downward-turned petal ends. I'm trying to recall the name, might be 'J. S. Digit', but I'm not sure. If my memory gels, I'll let you know!

You could try the ID forum -- I doubt many people will see this question here. (It turned up on my watched threads list because it was a response to my comment on 'Ruby'.)
