I received a DF of Morpho Butterfly from Heavenly Gardens and waited so (im)patiently for it to bloom. What I got last summer was unexpected. I swear I have a fan of Morpho Butterfly and a fan of something else.
I am assuming it's another Gossard- not sure what else to think though.

Any guesses or ideas?

The left side flower is Morpho Butterfly

The right side flower??? Maybe Heavenly Whirly Bird?

It's much taller than the Morpho Butterfly scape, by at least 8-10" and the blooms were larger, too.

I ordered Pilgrim Park a few years ago and got a bonus surprise. I was wondering what was happening when I suddenly had a scape going on 4 feet++ tall!!! When it bloomed differently from PP, I contacted the seller and figured out that it was Woodchopper's Ball..... which by the way I totally fell in love with!!! So I marked the scapes and as soon as both PP and WB were done blooming, I separated them out.

Well, I've yet to hear back from Jamie, so the mystery remains. Maybe I did did two completely different (and unintentional) cultivars from what I ordered. Wonder what Heavenly Gardens will do/say?

UPDATE:

I was hoping Jamie would email, but he hadn't yet, so I texted him today. He agrees with the assessment that one of the flowers is Rainbow Maker, so kudos to @spiderjoe for the excellent call. I'll send more pix to Jamie next summer so he can help ID the mystery one.

I've ordered Morpho Butterfly again lol.
