Once again, I need your help! Granddaughter just noticed this on the top of a young cherry blossom tree in their yard in OK. It was so dry there for awhile but now they're getting some rain. This appeared almost overnight. Should they be worried?
Name: Daisy I Reno, Nv (Zone 6b) Not all who wander are lost
It looks like this Cherry tree has more than one problem: Tent caterpillars and what may be Black Knot disease.

It looks like that bulge may be an egg mass. That would be good, one problem eliminated.
