Mine is too new to provide a proper evaluation. So far, I have noticed the following about it: slow to get acclimated and increase, budcount is low, but the blooms are very beautiful. I have not seen the ringed pattern on mine yet. Maybe it does not like the cold winters up here and does not perform as well as the warmer zone.

Purchased in bloom last year and waiting to see what it does in the garden. If it blooms, will try to set pods.
Used the pollen on a couple of strong-growing eyed seedlings to good effect [confirmed pollen fertile] and will see the results on 20+ resulting babies late summer or next year.

I received two seeds of the cross Bob Faulkner seedling x The One Ring in a daylily seed exchange. These would have been purchased on the LA, but I don't know from whom.

I started both seeds during the winter of 2018. The two seedlings resulting from these seeds were planted in the ground in June, 2018. They survived their first winter very well. It was a long winter, with a lot of snow and very cold temperatures. We also had a long, cold spring. They did not bloom during the summer of 2019.

I am looking forward to this summer and hope to see blooms and if I do, I will post pictures.

As mentioned in the previous post, I am adding photos of the seedlings produced by a cross of BF-27 x The One Ring.
These seedlings have been in the garden since June, 2018, and have come through two winters here very well.
