Plant these charmingly diminutive bulb irises for an early flower show.

Impulse buy of forced iris reticulata and enjoyed the spring color pick me up.
They're still in small plastic pots.
Can I plant them now instead of waiting until fall.
Do I trim leaves before planting?
Advice appreciated!
