I had to go back into my records, didn't even remember I purchased this one. No photos. Bought in 2017, went out to the garden and looked where my garden plan said it should be. Nothing not even the tag. I can honestly say not a good one for zone 5 (Canada zone 4), not surprising as a lot of evergreens do not do well here.

Rolling on the floor laughing Ina, that was a funny story as you narrated it perfectly. Unfortunately, I'm also familiar with the sting of tender evergreens. Sighing! So many beauties I can't have either.
God blessed me with dirt.

I just got the plant back in late Sept. 2019 from daylilly99, it is doing well and now has scapes. I received three fans, I will have to check and come back later to report on the current fan count. Looking forward to this blooming.
Edited 04/08/2020:
I checked this morning and 'Coit Tower' currently had two scapes and 5 fans.

I received Coit Tower three weeks ago from Floyd Cove. I now have scapes and it should bloom in a couple of weeks. I will have to add any details later.

I bought Coit Tower two years ago and received two fans. It is doing well, and I just love it. We don't have very cold winters here in the area, so there is no risk of it disappearing.
The bloom has a nice texture and keeps its colour even on very hot and sunny days.
I'm sorry for those who lost Coit Tower, it is definitely one of my favourites.
