Hi, I have a speckled purple plant with yellow stamen that looks a lot like deadly nightshade. The pics I've seen the plant have wide leaves whereas my plant has grassy like leaves. I ask because I have children and don't know whether to be worried or not?

It is not a nightshade.

I wouldn't ever encourage any plant that isn't meant to be eaten.
