Eremurus and geum flowers when? in the Ask a Question forum

Williamsville in southeastern (Zone 5a)

Last fall I planted eremurus hybrid bulbs ( looked like little seven-inch octopuses). Will they flower this season, their first year?

Also, last spring I put in six Mrs Bradshaw geum and the greenery grew up lush and tall, but no flowers. Is this normal? Will they flower this year?
