Don't have this but have one of the kid's 'Blue Bayou', first bloom coming in May.

I have always wanted this one, as I once had a real case of Cat Scratch Fever, and I tracked it down at Ladybug Daylilies, but alas, Dan didn't recommend it for my region (5b).

I agree, I am growing it in zone 5a midcoast Maine, it has lived here for several years, just coming through the ground now, it only has increased by one fan in the time I have had it. It survives, but doesn't thrive. I do have other plants from Dan that do well here.

The scrunched up form isn't it's fault, it was blocked by storm debris.

Loses some of the eye's depth of color in full sun.

Biggest problem is the scrapes are too short. Bloom is definitely in the foliage.

Seems to have increased well.
