Exotic Candy has been in my garden for 10 years and for the first 6 or 7 years it just kind of sat there without multiplying. Since we have a lonicera plant that needs trimming and it is very close to Exotic Candy, it is possible that the daylily was stepped on and damaged at some point, causing the slow increase.

Anyway, in the last three years it has really taken off and is a nice clump now. Branching is at least 3-way, blooms always seem to open up beautifully, and the 26" registered height seems to be about what it is in my garden. I have not had rust on it either.

I have not noticed a fragrance, even though it is registered as very fragrant. I will have to try to notice that this year. It blooms between late June and mid-July here in my southern Indiana (zone 6b). Last year I had a few blooms in August, which were due to a little bud-building. But I do not get much rebloom here on any of my daylilies and have not had any on this daylily.

This dormant variety takes a while to show up in Spring even here in zone 9. It doesn't even have bud stems yet 4-25-20. I check daily for them as my records show it's bloomed in late May /early June in the past. I purchased it in April 2017 because it's a Beauty & Rebloomer. Thumbs up

I've had mine for about 12 years now and in spite of a slow start because of moving it around, it has now formed a large clump with plenty of blooms. I have noticed a fragrance from my clump, possibly because of its size. Needs dividing now, anybody in Canada want some?

I received 2 fans of this plant in Sept. 2017 and is now (May 2020) 8 fans, so a moderate increase for me. It did bloom 2018 & 2019 and re-bloomed both years. I like the pink color on this one. Mine gets morning & some afternoon sun then shade. It is fertile both ways for me, set pods both years. No real problems with this one so far. I quite enjoy it.
