Hello,
I noticed that the bark was dying. The limbs above still look okay, but I can't imagine for long if all the bark peels away. Does anyone know what's causing it and a remedy?

The tree had some termite and carpenter ant infestations in the past, and we used Termidor a few years ago. That seems to have eliminated it completely. I'm not sure it is related.
