Can someone help me out with this? I was told that the photo I am posting is a Neo Raphael. It is definitely NOT Skotak's, but may be Elmore's??? It looks more like a small Johannis to me! I am so confused over this. I sincerely appreciate anyone's help.

I wonder if it might be the one spelled Bromeliad (Neoregelia 'Rafael') ? The light leaf coloration may possibly be due to lower light levels.

Welcome MissKristi!
My first thought of seeing your photo is that of another Skotak hybrid Neoregelia 'Morado'.
'Morado' is more compact growing type of Neoregelia averaging a 14"-16" spread.

Welcome! Kristi, I do not have any idea which neo you have but I wanted to say it looks like you have a nice collection of broms and I hope you will join us over at the Bromeliad forum. https://garden.org/forums/view...

It does not look like Raphael to me. I think Scott has nailed it

MissKristi, I forgot to say Welcome!

Here's our database entry for your gorgeous Brom: Neoregelia 'Morado' and below is the only photo we have in the database so far:

@ScotTi, thanks so much for identifying this gorgeous Brom! Thumbs up
